Children’s Aquatics

Swimming is an activity that can bring satisfaction, enjoyment, and fitness to individuals of every age. Getting children in the water is a great way to build confidence, self-esteem, and skills that will last a lifetime. Our comprehensive program seeks to maximize a child’s skill, build confidence, and teach the importance of safe water practices!

Stingrays Swim Team

Our goal is to provide a solid foundation of skills, strength, and knowledge in swimming. We also aim to create a lifelong love and passion for activity and exercise. Our team works with swimmers of all abilities. We divide our swimmers into four groups based on age and ability. All new swimmers must complete a swim test to place them in the correct group.

Future Stars

This program is the first step in introducing your future stars to the game of tennis. Using appropriately-sized equipment and courts, your child will learn basic coordination, proper fundamentals of tennis, and correct swing shape. Our teaching professionals will make these 45-minute classes a fun, energetic atmosphere to learn tennis so that they can progress and transition seamlessly into the next phase of tennis.

Junior Tennis

LSF’s Junior Tennis Program has been designed to create a pathway for each individual kid to maximize their learning through three core concepts: 1) controlling the environment, 2) player to player-based learning, and 3) individual coaching during lessons. LSF Academy is for children who are looking to become a high flyer and compete on a more-than-recreational basis. Private Junior Lessons help a child chart and get a faster growth rate in their group classes. Pairing with a pro motivates kids to push the envelope.

Mommy and Me (ages 1-2.5)

This class will delight you and your child with a variety of music and movement activities. This class will focus on engaging your child’s imitation skills as they clap, point, and move to the music. Parent or caregiver participation is required so please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in.

Pre-Ballet (ages 3-4)

Your child will be introduced to dance through a fun and engaging class that is sure to nurture their creativity in movement. This class will focus on developing coordination and promoting self-esteem, as well as developing a connection between imagination and movement. Ballet shoes, leotard, and tights required.

Short Sports (ages 3-5)

Helps to develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination through various sports and fitness activities. This program offers a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. No skills or prior experience necessary.

Ballet and Tap (ages 4-6)

Your child will learn the joy of dance through a fun and engaging class that will inspire the dancer within. This class will focus on developing coordination and promoting self-esteem, along with learning basic positions and terminology. Ballet shoes, leotard, and tights required.

Rising Stars Basketball (ages 5-12)

This class is designed for beginning players between the ages of 5 & 12 years old. The goal of this class is to teach the fundamentals of the game of basketball while also stressing teamwork, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and the benefits of having a positive attitude. The class will break down kids by age group and work on ball-handling, passing, shooting, layups, defense, and overall basketball strategy.

Jazz & Hip-Hop (ages 6-9)

Let your child be a part of the hip-hop craze. In this class, your child will be introduced to the basics of hip-hop while incorporating and developing the fundamentals of jazz dance. Your child will learn age-appropriate choreography to fun, funky, and up-tempo music. Jazz shoes, leotard, and tights/jazz pants required.

Smart Cubs Club (ages 7-13)

Let your child master their homework and their athletic skills at the Smart Cubs Club. We support well-rounded development by providing academic and fitness instruction. During the first hour, children receive homework help from qualified instructors in a small group setting. Structured learning activities will be provided and parents can request assistance in certain subject areas. The second hour will focus on a different sport or fitness activity of the week. Enrollment includes all three days offered.

Youth Personal Training

Our youth personal training program encourages healthy competition, the value of participation, team building, individual development, positive self-image, a sense of fair play, and mutual respect for others as kids learn to properly work out with a certified personal trainer, all while keeping it fun. Our youth personal training programs are designed to improve the physical development for kids at all levels, eight years or older.
