Lakeshore Sport & Fitness – Lincoln Park boasts one of the most comprehensive racquet sports and tennis lesson programs in Chicago, featuring a wide selection of recreational, instructional, and competitive options for adults and children alike. Our facilities include:

  • 8 indoor tennis courts
  • 3 rooftop tennis courts
  • 2 outdoor paddle courts
  • 2 squash courts
  • 1 racquetball court

Whether you’re brand new to the sport, looking to get back into it after some time away from the game, or an experienced player looking to improve certain aspects of your game, our tennis lessons in Chicago have been helping players for decades.

The LSF racquet department offers group and private lessons, both for adults and juniors, as well the more fitness-intensive cardio tennis program, social and competitive flex leagues, mixers, competitive CITA and USTA teams, a junior academy program for elite level players, and more. Our classes and lessons are taught by an accomplished team of tennis professionals, many of whom have played on the U.S. and/or European tours, and focus on teaching both fundamentals and a love for the game.

Tennis is a sport that can be enjoyed by all types of players – young & old, recreational & competitive, beginner & advanced. Play your way indoors or outdoors on the rooftop and meet new players through our tightly knit community of players.

We know the most dedicated and passionate players love to play year-round. Having the option to play indoor tennis in Chicago is extremely important when choosing a tennis club. With 8 indoor tennis courts in Chicago, our Lincoln Park tennis facilities allow players to maintain their exercise routines even when the weather gets cold. Other tennis clubs in Chicago only have indoor tennis courts, but sometimes you want to enjoy the sun and fresh air when you play, which is why our rooftop tennis courts make an appealing option for the spring and summer months.
